Biography

Hello!

I am Ryan Mock and am currently the Admissions Representative for South-Central Michigan. I oversee Branch, Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ingham, Jackson, Monroe, and Washtenaw Counties. I graduated from SVSU in December of 2020 and received my Social Studies Secondary Education (6-12) degree from Saginaw Valley. I hold a Secondary Teaching Certificate in the state of Michigan. I taught in the classroom for about a year before transitioning into higher education. Alongside these counties, I also sit on the Global Foundation Scholars Committee and help award scholarships to students who have the hopes of studying abroad. 

During my time here at SVSU, I was very involved in a wide variety of clubs and organizations. I worked several on campus jobs in the Ryder Center and other offices, participated in intramural sports, and was a member of Forever Red. 

I really enjoy having the opportunity to help students with their next step of going to college and look forward to answering any questions you may have. Go Cards!
