Biography

Hello Future Cardinals! My name is Daskyra Hood, and I am the Regional Admissions Representative for Wayne and Macomb counties! I was born and raised in Saginaw and got my bachelor's from Oakland University in Creative Writing with minors in English and Communication. In the 2017-2018 school year, I worked as a College Adviser with the Michigan College Access Network AdviseMI program. Continuing my love of working with students, I got my Master's degree in Higher Education Leadership and started my career in admissions! I am happy to represent my hometown and show students in the Metro Detroit area what SVSU has to offer.
