Dr. Anne Tapp Jaksa is a Professor of Teacher Education at Saginaw Valley State University within the College of Education. She is the Past-chair of the American Association for Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE) Board of Directors and the AACTE Advisory Council of State Representatives (ACSR) Executive Committee. She is President of the Michigan Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (MACTE). Dr. Tapp Jaksa serves on the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) Board of Directors and serves as the Senior Director of Research for the University of Michigan Center for Digital Curricula. Dr. Tapp Jaksa's research interests include continuous improvement, STEM, and technology integration. She is a frequent presenter at international and national conferences and has published numerous journal articles, book chapters, and texts, most recently Digital Learning for Young Minds, Empowered Together, and Leveraging Artificial Intelligence to Transform Teacher Education Accreditation. Dr. Tapp Jaksa is a board member for several organizations and frequent volunteer within educational communities.
